About This Workshop
Join Cassandra and Rossi in this transformative workshop that focuses on essential skills for connecting with students through refining hands-on adjustments during a yoga class. Deepen your understanding of postures, modify them, and address specific issues while fostering profound connections with your students. Under the guidance of esteemed mentors, engage in interactive theory and practice sessions that will refine your skills. Throughout the workshop, you will receive valuable feedback to support your growth and development.
Key aspects covered in this workshop include:
Learning essential techniques and effective application of hands-on adjustments.
Understanding and adhering to ethical guidelines that prioritize safety and well-being.
Harnessing the transformative power of assists to enhance your students’ practice.
Mastering a variety of adjustment techniques for different postures.
Exploring transformational adjustments for standing, balance, twisting, forward bends, back bends, inversions, and Shavasana.
Through this immersive workshop, you will develop the skills to deliver exceptional, safe, caring, and dynamic hands-on adjustments. Forge meaningful connections with your students and create transformative experiences in their yoga practice. Please note that this workshop is designed for continuing education purposes and requires a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certification or equivalent qualification for eligibility. This workshop is registered with Yoga Alliance and will give you 4hrs of continuations education credits.
Participants will take away the following from the workshop:
Understanding the concept and purpose of hands-on assists in yoga.
Knowing when to appropriately use hands-on assists.
Exploring different techniques for effective assists.
Using language effectively to assist in alignment.
Gaining knowledge of anatomy for alignment support.
Understanding the importance of trauma-informed language. Implementing trauma-informed hands-on assists.



Cassandra Severns

Colorado native, founder/owner of Honest Haven Studio, and she is in love with all things outdoors! Nature is her comfort.
Her love of nature is what drew her to yoga and encouraged her to complete a 200-hour yoga teacher training (YTT) in 2019, a 25-hour trapeze YTT in 2020, a 20hr mindfulness meditation certification in 2022, a SUP YTT in 2022, a 300-hour YTT (40hrs Adaptable yoga, 40hrs Yin yoga, 40hrs Nida yoga, 40hr Restorative yoga, and 40hrs in Trauma-informed) in 2022, a Singing Bowl Certification in 2022, a Prenatal YTT in 2023, and a Yin YTT in 2023.
Yoga has such a natural flow that its calling was strong for her. Living a slower-paced life and really enjoying each moment as it comes has had a profound impact on her mental health and physical well-being.
She is passionate about supporting others on their journey through yoga, whether they want to gain more insight into teaching yoga or just want to deepen their connection to their personal practice.

She fearlessly takes on the mission of total well-being. By combining Western and Eastern philosophies and utilizing her deep understanding of Yoga, Reiki, Traditional Bodywork, Meditation, and Pranayama, along with the integration of Mindset coaching, neuroscience, psychology, somatic work, and conscious living, she offers a holistic framework for self-discovery and personal growth.
She has a wide variety of studies including Power Vinyasa, Iyengar, Hatha, Restorative, Yin, Yoga for addiction and recovery, Love Your Brain/ yoga for traumatic brain injuries, Yoga for Young Warriors, Y12SR yoga for the 12-step program, The art of Adjustment and mindful touch. Rossi is also an Intuitive Tarot Reader and a Psychic in development. She is a mind architect catalyst and her mission is to ignite communities everywhere to break the Self Imposed limitations and open up to possibilities.
Rossi`s teaching style is Bold, Open-Hearted, Strong, Supportive, and Immersed. Her path took her to a vinyasa yoga teacher training in 2014. Rossi continuously studies the roots and traditions of this practice as she truly believes in the benefits of this well-rounded practice including all the eight limbs that Patanjali describes in the Yoga Sutras.
